John Ball School, Blackheath

John Ball School is an outstanding maintained primary school in the heart of Blackheath Village.

It’s proximity to the train station makes it an ideal camp location, as many parents like to drop their children off and hop on to the train across the car park. A train journey takes just over 1o minutes to get to London Bridge.

In 2014/5 a £4.5M building project was completed to permanently expand the school and add state-of-the-art facilities. This involved the building of a new admin and central facilities block, a wing of 5 new classrooms, the extension of a new classroom to the Early Years building as well as the complete refurbishment of the outdoor play space and the internal refurbishment of the Nursery class, the installation of a brand new Kitchen and refurbishment of the small hall as well as new heating, electrical and lighting systems.

We generally tend to run our summer classes in The Large KS2 Hall.
