Use VEXcode to use a VEX robot in a virtual 3D space to solve real world problems. Learn to programme your robot to compete in interactive challenges. You can code using blocks or Python. In addition to the basics of robotics, children learn key concepts such as use of sensors to detect obstacles.
- Solve a real world ‘big problem’ such lifting, pushing carrying objects
- Apply engineering concepts in a virtual reality space
- Explore visual programming with blocks of code
Although the children won’t be able to build a robot in this virtual setting, the preassembled virtual robot does feel very real! Use drivetrains to navigate. Use sensors to help solve mazes. Use pen features on the art canvas to code a creative drawing. Use the new electromagnet to interact with game objects in challenges. You can change the camera angle to view your robot from all sides.
