    Don’t just let your children play Minecraft, get them coding with it! In this autumn term weekly class, the students will be taught to code using Minecraft, in a block-based programming language (Microsoft Make Code).

    Location: Cobham Free School (Senior Department), Portsmouth Road, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1TF Duration: 11 weeks Frequency: Once a week Note: Half term break (no sessions):  23rd and 30th October 2021 Age Requirement: 7+ No prior coding experience necessary. Minecraft play experience is highly desired but not essential. 5% discount when you book Minecraft Coding and Scratch coding club together. Important COVID-19 related information: We will take every precaution necessary to protect our staff, our course attendees and their families. We will strictly follow government advice at the time of running the camp. This may include, among other precautions, a temperature measurement of students at the time of morning registration.     Cobham – Scratch Coding, Autumn Term

    Scratch is the world’s most popular programming language for primary school children. Scratch’s visual coding blocks makes it particularly useful to learn coding concepts and computational thinking. More experienced children can also benefit from Scratch as we will cover more advanced aspects of the language. In this course, children will be learn to create stories; bring animations to life; code musical instruments and design exciting games.

    In this Christmas Holiday tech camp (individual days can also be booked), the children will learn about robotics and coding through the use of various robots to grasp key programming and engineering concepts in a fun learning environment.
